Tushima "Tammy" Goswami Rauch
Studiobesitzerin / Regular TeacherTammy, born in Calcutta, India was living with her family in New York City and moved to Vienna in 2008.
In Spring 2006, under the personal and direct teachings of Bikram Choudhury, she completed teacher training and became a certified Bikram Yoga teacher.
Since then, she has taught classes at the international Headquarters' studio in Los Angeles where Bikram Choudhury is also teaching classes.
She was also teaching in New York City, Chicago, Kentucky, San Diego and internationally in Hamburg, Berlin and Vienna.
Tammy studied and worked as a Physical Therapist in New York City, NY. Although she had a wide range of patients her focus was on treating sports injuries and children with disability.
The first time I did Bikram Yoga was at the "Lower East Side" studio in Manhattan. I knew it was exactly what I had been looking for! It was very different and challenging and I loved the Yoga right away, especially how it made me feel when I finished the class.
Working as a therapist I immediately saw the medical benefits in a steady practice. I endorsed it openly and gave the Yoga to all my clients as therapeutic exercises. They all benefited greatly and are still practicing Bikram Yoga today!
Bikram, it's just so good for you... it's not only a Yoga practice but a way of life to radiant health!

Petra Ried
Regular Teacheris born in Vienna and commutes between the Toscany of Austria (Burgenland) and Vienna back and forth. Since her childhood dance is one of her biggest passions which even intensified during her studies of dance. She now works as a teacher in this field for many years, in schools and at the institute for sports science.
In 2007 Petra started doing Bikram Yoga and recognized soon that it is the perfect addition to her sports and dance activities. During her 'Bildungskarenz' for the completion of her PHD she graduated in 2014 from the Bikram Yoga teacher training in Los Angeles and attended a spiral dynamic courses.
In my first Bikram Yoga class I realized that the 'stubbornness' of a dancer or an athlete is not very helpful and got to know my body from another side. After time the 'softness' came back. I also experienced that every Bikram Yoga class is different, no matter how many years you have been practicing and that a smile in between may cause miracles.
Sophie Partik
Regular TeacherSophie's biggest passion has always been sports. Field hockey, tennis and running (marathons) were just a few of her hobbies. In her professional life she worked in the "high end" hospitality, after graduating from International Hotel Management at Modul Wien.
At the age of 25 she opened one of the very first vegan curry bars in Vienna. After many successful years she felt the urge for a change and started traveling Brazil for 6 months, where she came across Bikram Yoga in 2012. Since 2013 she has been practicing at Bikram Yoga Schottenring and is part of our team. She completed the Teacher Training in 2015 in Kao Lak, Thailand, and has taught in Jakarta.
A day without sweating is a lost day :) Bikram Yoga is for me the perfect combination of flowing movement to open and heal my body from the inside and to force my restless spirit to stay calm. Each class is a new challenge for me, each practice lets me find out new things about my body.
If you watch real closely and listen to the dialog, you will see new things in the mirror each class. It will never get boring, because you can extend your limits each time little by little.

Mario van Dulmen
Regular TeacherMario comes from the Netherlands. He was born and grew up in a small town north of Amsterdam. After Highschool he moved to Amsterdam to study psychology at the University of Amsterdam. While studying psychology he also took singing lessons, and after graduating from University, he went on to work as a singer in musical theatre. In the summer of 1997 that brought him to Vienna, he became part of the original cast for the musical ‘Tanz der Vampire' in the Raimund Theatre. While in Vienna Mario started practicing yoga for the first time, not Bikram Yoga, though, as there was no Bikram studio in Vienna, yet.
After quite some years working in the theatre Mario embarked on a new road and went to work as a social worker in the Netherlands.
In January of 2009 he took his first Bikram Yoga class in Amsterdam, which would take his life in a completely new direction.
He went to the Bikram Yoga teacher training in the spring of 2012. After that he started teaching in Amsterdam. In April 2013 Mario decided to travel and teach Bikram Yoga in different places in the world.
I started with Bikram Yoga when I was suffering from lower back hernia, and was very limited in my movements. Through diligent practice my back completely healed, and I had become passionate about the Bikram series, and wanted to be instrumental in passing it on to everyone who walks through the studio door. I love teaching this wonderful series, that works wonders for your whole being!
Maria Bachmann
Guest TeacherMaria was born in Estonia. Since her childhood she has been interested in yoga. Marias parents brought several books about yoga home from their trips to India with lots of nice photos of yoga postures. Maria of course tried to do them all, it was one of her favourite games. Lateron she also attended a ballet school, but finally decided study music and become a pianist/conductor. Since her teacher training in fall 2011 she is sharing her life between yoga and music which makes her very happy.
Bikram Yoga has played an important role in my life since 2009. I learned from many wonderful teachers, attended posture clinics and also advanced classes. The studio was for me a second home and the people there my family. I decided to become a yoga teacher, to share what I have learned and experienced with other people, guide them to more energy, physical and mental strength and better health.
