New Students

We are very happy you joined us!

Every student has a unique first class experience that will never be forgotten! We encourage you to be patient with your practice, it takes about 3 to 5 classes to get acclimated to the heat and 10 to 15 classes done within 30 days to reap maximum benefits of Bikram Yoga.

Arrive minimum 15 minutes early.
Don't come for yoga class in a rushed panic. Please come early especially for your first class to allow time to get registered and meet your teacher. The door opens only 30 minutes before class.

We will ask you to fill out our studio registration form. If you would like to fill the form now and bring it with you, that's great, it'll save you time.

Come prepared

Please do not eat a full meal minimum 2 hours before class.
If a special condition prevents this, eat easily digestible foods, i.e. fruit or yogurt one hour before class.

Drink plenty of water before you come to class. Dizziness, nausea, headaches, stiffness, sore throat are all signs of dehydration.

For your Yoga class you need:

  • light clothing such as shorts and t-shirt/tank tops
  • 2 bath towels
  • bottled water (still)
  • yoga mat

Mats and towels are also available for rent and bottled water for purchase.

During class

Please remain in the yoga room for the entire duration of class, this will develop concentration, determination and discipline. Be patient and have fun!

No mobile phones, shoes, eating are allowed in the yoga room.

After class

It is important for you to drink plenty of water to restore minerals. After you've practiced for a while, the body grows accustomed to the process but specially at first, hydrate hydrate hydrate!

After every class we offer fresh fruits and tea in the lounge area.

Nach der Klasse

When should you come back after your first class?

The most important advice we can give you is to come back for another class as soon as possible. Daily practice is recommended. Remember, even if you had a hard time, you are still getting the benefits!

Ask questions. Our instructors are eager to help you improve and feel good.
